Hello! My name is Ariel Bordeaux, and I make comics, zines and paintings exploring themes of daily life, parenting, relationships, emotion, self-image, identity and food. After graduating from The Museum School in Boston, MA, I self-published a minicomic series titled Deep Girl, which launched my career in comics. My work has been featured in or written about in publications from Fantagraphics, Drawn & Quarterly, Seal Press, Yale Press, DC Comics, Viking Penguin and Chronicle Books, as well as numerous small press publications. I attended the Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, VT, where I began my graphic memoir, Clutter: A Scatterbrained Sexual Assault Memoir, now available from Fieldmouse Press.
